You can show that black is a better collector of solar energy than white by doing a easy experiment. All you have to prepare is two tin cans, black and white paint, and room thermometer. First, you have to paint the cans with white and black paint, and then fill the cans with water. After that, you have to put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours. At last, check the temperature of the water in the black and white cans and compare them. You will find that the temperature of the water in the black can is higher. And you can prove that black collects solar energy more than white.
